About Me
I’m James Hancock, a level designer that has worked in the games industry for over 7 years and this is my online portfolio. In 2014 I graduated as a Master of Computing in Computer Games Production from the University of Lincoln focusing on game and level design.
After finishing university I immediately started my career in the games industry as a Quality Assurance Tester at Rockstar Games working on Grand Theft Auto V. I then moved into a Level Construction Designer (Technical Level Designer) role at Tt Games that I held for 5 and a half years working on several projects such as Lego Dimensions, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 and Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga.
I then moved into my current role as a Level Designer at Starbreeze studios working on Payday 2 DLC and Payday 3. I am now looking for my next position in the industry where I can use my passion and skills in order to develop engaging and enjoyable experiences for players. I strive to deliver enjoyable and memorable experiences using my lifelong passion for games and industry experience working on various titles for the best player experience possible. This has led me to look for my next career opportunity in the games industry.
